An excerpt from this week’s newsletter, in case you missed it…
Fa la la la la, la la la la
The holidays can be a frustrating time. Money is sometimes tight, and there’s always a lot to do. And in the hustle and bustle of the season, it’s easy sometimes to lose sight of what is really important: the people around you, and fun! Remember fun?
Remember that you control how your holiday goes – at least for you. You’re in charge of you: your reactions and responses to the things and people around you. Of course you can’t control the weather, the traffic, or the soufflé, and remember that you can always have a holly jolly time because you can choose to be holly jolly at any time.
Taking responsibility for your feelings will help you
develop super confidence, and ensure
you and yours have an extra super holiday season.
Focus on the things that bring you joy about the season. Focus on seeing friends and family, or having quality time with a loved one. Pay attention to the little beauties, like laughing in the kitchen or watching the frost outside the window. Remember to smile, and remember to treat those around you with love and openness. Then you’re pretty much guaranteed a wonderful holiday. Happy Holidays and remember, you have the power!
