Does the internet know my bra size?

An excerpt from last week’s newsletter,
in case you missed it…

Question:  How accurate is calculating my bra size on the internet?

The best way to find out what size you are is to try on bras.  Measuring at home like this can give you an idea, and the best way to figure this out is to base it on the way your bras fit now.

If you buy your bras on the last (smallest-setting) hook, the band size is too big.  If you buy them on the first (largest-setting) hook, then as the elastic stretches throughout the life of the bra, you can adjust the fit so that it will still be supportive.

If your breasts are pinched or overflowing anywhere or creating double-boob, or if the middle of the bra is not lying flat against your breast bone, the cups are too small.  If the cups are puckering or if the wire (if it’s an under wire bra) is digging in to you, the cups are too big.

Trial and error and some super confidence are the keys to a great chest.

Remember that when you go up or down a band size, you will probably have to go up or down on the cup size too.  Don’t be afraid of bra sizes.  It’s just letters and numbers.  Find a bra that fits properly and supports you well, and be proud of your rack!  Remember, you’re worth it!
